Business Analyst 4

The client is seeking a Business Analyst IV to analyze business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. The Business Analyst IV is responsible for leading the functional requirements gathering and documentation. The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies relevant design, process and specification issue.

 

Job Responsibilities: 
•Coordinate with systems partners to collect requirement, finalize designs and formalize requirements.
•Manage all stakeholder Joint Application and Design JAD Meetings and document the discussion for translation into business requirement.
•Document requirement from all stakeholders, sizing and planning Poker techniques as needed based on the length of the backlog and priorities.
•Supporting, implementing, training and documenting Software Development Life Cycle releases within an Access Management/Information Security environment.
•Coordinating the business plans and forecasts for software implementation and releases.
•Providing management with monthly analysis and commentary on the Risk Management and project deliverables.
•Report progress to all stakeholders through Sprint Burn-Down Reports, Iteration Burn-Down Reports, and velocity target updates. Perform Risk Management and project deliverables.
•Organize and facilitate Agile and Scrum meetings, which include Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums or Standups, Sprint Check-In, Sprint Review & Retrospective.
•Work with Product Owner for acceptance of the product. Also managed the backlog of stories and issues
•Report progress to all stakeholders through Sprint Burn-Down Reports, Iteration Burn-Down Reports, and velocity target updates. Perform Risk Management and project blockers
•Lead and Manage EPICS/Features/Stories and Tasks
•Organize and facilitate Agile and Scrum meetings, which included Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums or Standups, Sprint Check-In, Sprint Review & Retrospective.
•Operate in sprints with flexibility on length based on immediate functionality concerns.
•Work with Product Owner for acceptance of the product. Also managed the backlog

•Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
•Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
•Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodology, design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
•Knowledge of software development such as Java, Python, SQL, etc.

 

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
• 8-10 years experience required.
